“We had a really good guide, Mr Stephen. He was really knowledgeable about the area and his commentary on the drive there was very interesting. The monkeys at the lighthouse were so cute and feeding them is a must. The seafood dinner was delicious. My granddaughter hadn't had seafood like that before. She absolutely loved the prawns. The fireflies were really good but unfortunately we didn't see much of the blue tears but that's expected when you are on a nature trip. Overall it is a definite 10 out of 10!”

“Overall the tour was average. Pros : 1- The cruise is very quiet and smooth, since you are in a river there are no bumps. 2- The night cruise was actually good, watching all these fireflies filling up the trees, many of them. Also some may come to the boat, they are small and magical. 3- The staff is friendly. Cons : 1- After driving for two hours from Kota Kinabalu you expect that you are going deep in the river and its jungle but it’s actually a very short ride and you are able to see houses and the main road. “We had a unique experience. We started with a city tour where we visited the must-sees of KL, plus the chocolate museum, Jadi Batek (fabric and clothing coloring workshop). Then we went to visit Batu Caves, where we stayed for 1 hour 20 minutes. We continued with a 1-hour trip to a fortress, where we were greeted by cannons and monkeys, who were given food and even put on our shoulders. “This was such a disappointment. No one picked us up at hotel despite confirming with number provided. After an hour I had to phone and was told some one would come. 20 mins later a Chinese man came with a minibus.
